He was not injured, they are hyping that up to make him an underdog at the Rumble, he will keep the title, they aren't ready for him to lose it yet, and with Subway doing a commercial with him holding the title, they can't necessarily show the commercial anymore if he doesn't have the title anymore, and they paid him a good deal of money, to only show the commercial a couple of times

I believe so... It would be stupid to give it to umaga so with wrestlemania a couple months away . I think Shawn Michaels will face Cena for the wwe title at wrestlemania after winning this years Royal Rumble.

John Cena wins at Royal Rumble, Shawn Micheals and Edge is the last two in the Royal Rumble, Edge wins and John Cena wins at Wrestlemainia 23. Hope i didn't give away anything =p

They'll never give Umaga the belt.
can you picture "wrestlemania main event Umaga vs......"? I cant either.
Plus The Royal Rumble title matches are always squashes against nobodies so they can put more main event guys in the rumble match.

A. He wasn't injured at all, it's a story line
B. They are using that story line to make him look like an underdog at Rumble
C. They don't plan on having him lose the title at Rumble
He will leave victorious, though how he comes out of it in the story line is still to be decided
