Like would you think it was weird if you knew about two teenagers in a 9x14 foot room?
Can anyone pull up percentages of teenagers who do that?
All I find in my Googling is people saying, "Give them their own rooms when their teenagers." That's not an option in my situation, and I'd like to know if this is rare.
In first-world countries. Ideally only North America.

And I'd also like to know if you'd have any unusual reactions (i.e any reaction at all) and if you think that would reflect on the people or on the family.

I know it's normal in other countries.
I also know my friends consider it normal, because we all live in urban areas where space is tight.
Since the average person does not live in an urban area I would like to know how they percieve it. That's all.

If there is no where else to go, then yes it is fairly common. I have heard of some teens sleeping in the living room though-maybe an option.

It's not unusual if there aren't enough rooms to do otherwise.
Normal has nothing to do with it unless you base your whole life on what other people do. In that case, you'd better find out what time teenagers normally go to bed. Or how many times a day they normally brush their teeth.
I can see that you only want one answer which is that it is not normal, particularly when I consider your last line. You wouldn't want to know that in some countries it is "normal" for the whole family to sleep together in one room.

Not unusual at all, my sister has 3 boys and two of them share a room and the other one gives up his room when we come to visit. Wait until you join the service then you really share your room about 6 guys to a room..
You could always sleep in the garage???

I shared a room with my brother till I moved out when I was 19. He was only a year younger.
My sisters shared a room too, and were about the same age.
I guess that's what happens when one's parents are too cheap to buy a bigger house.

I shared a room with 3 sisters most of my life, till they moved out anyway. It's not fair to a teen but it's also not fair to make your parents pay for a house with more space when they're already struggling as it is.

The only non normal thing would be if they were of the opposite sex. Otherwise it is very normal and alot of families do it. There is nothing weird about it.

What do you mean, is it normal???
For a lot of people it is simply a question of money.
Remember, there are a lot of people that live in apartments, one or two bedrooms...
