The stereotype of Greeks is Nick. About 1/4 of all living Greek males are named Nick (okay, maybe more like 10-15%).
I'm 1/2 Greek and a lot of my family is named Nick.

Hey, please don't attack me, I don't believe this, I have Greek friends, I'm going to a Greek wedding next month, I love Greek mythology, I think the Greek language is beautiful, I've studied Greek philosophers like Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and Pythagorus, I consider myself a philosopher, meaning a "lover of knowledge." ...
But, at least in the parts of the American South that I'm familiar with, the single overriding stereotype about Greek men is that they like young boys a little too much.
As for Greek women, I guess that they're beautiful.
Back to the man thing, that goes back to ancient times and people need to accept that things have changed in the last three thousand years. But if someone wants to shoot the messenger for answering this girl's question honestly, bring it on!

I have had Greek American friends since I was 12 years old.
Things that I know about Greeks:
-They are close knit (families and communities are close, have old fashioned values)
-They are very aware of their culture (and my friends speak and use their native tongue even though they live and were born here).
-They have awesome food - Souvlaki - mmm...
-They are proud of their heritage
-The second half of the Bible was written in Greek!
Only negative thing I heard: I did hear one White person say that they weren't really considered "white". She was an airhead - so what does that matter.
I can't think of one word, because I know too many good things about them. Of course I show love to everyone - but I just had to let you know the positive things that I have experienced.

Excuse me, how can we allow all those to speak like that that we like anal sex etc? They should look to their countries, countries which have nothing to show, just tolen things, and when we were existing and writing books and we had medecine(Hippocrates)they were not existing..or those who were existing were on the trees.Thats enough with you against the greeks...Thats why you come to us and in the summer you are doing even sex in the streets? This is your civilisation?

The thing about the Greeks having a liking to anal sex goes back hundreds of years. It stems from the ancient Greek Army motto: "NEVER LEAVE YOUR BUDDIES BEHIND"

ÏÏÏι Îομινίκη Î¼Î±Ï Î®Ïθε!As for the annal sex, this,I thought, was a rumour for Turks.Think of the othomanian way!I only know about our being homos in the ancient years!Others approve it others don't....Let's ask Pithagora,Diogeni,Dimokrito what they liked tasting when turning off the candle-lights.Well,my opinion is that if any person here could be another Platon I could forgive his being homo!
