How many wrestlers have died "prematurely"?

Every couple of months it seems someone has died unnaturally.

If you mean from the effects of drugs and steroids then 46 is about right. Many of the wrestlers that have had heart attacks at young ages were the result of steroids and other drugs that get abused in the industry.

Road warrior Hawk died from the same condition that Eddie guerrerro did. Even though they had been drug free for some time, Their past abuses had already damaged their bodies.

Such a shame to see the people we grew up watching cheering and booing pass away during the course of their careers. To us it seems prematurely but to the main person in this faction, it was HIS way of saying Job Well done, it's time to come home.

Anybody who wrestled in the old WCCW in Texas is doomed. Kerry, David, Chris, and Mike Von Erich, Chris Adams, Gino Hernandez, Bruiser Brody, Rick Rude, Bam Bam Bigelow and Terry Gordy come to mind.

It's really a relative question. when do you consider prematurely. And if it is heart problems by someone in their 30's or 40's is that really unnatural. Most of these wrestlers dying arent particularly young.

it has alot to do with their health system. Most wrestlers (not all) took some sort of a steroid. The steroid's kill their insides.

die from any health related issues it
was just a freak accident.

for them i dont think its really "prematurely" i think its because of all the getting hurt and stuff does it to like their hearts
