no, it just means you heard it when you were in a certain mental state when you heard it (like sleepy or waking up)

Personally, I think that means that the song has a message to teach you, and that message will probably keep repeating until you get it.
Like one time, I was feeling so stressed out, and I got into my car and turned on the radio. The first song I heard was an oldie.... "Relax" (Remember... "Relax, don't do it.....") Ok, then the song was stuck in my head but I still didn't get the message. Then I get to work and a woman I worked with started singing. Guess which song she sang? I'm not kidding... she sang "Relax!!" All of a sudden it hit me... duh! I needed to just relax!
That was when I started to believe that there was a connection between the songs that stick in your head and the messages you need to learn.
I have other examples of this too, but I don't want to bore you!
Of course there are also those times when songs seem to just get stuck for no reason (Barney's "I love you" song, for example!) And then there are commercials which are DESIGNED to stick in your head. But those are different from what I'm talking about.

Not necessarily. Human mind is a sheer nature. Sometimes the tone of a certain song stimulates the brain cells and the mental state so much that u can't get over with it. It might not be true that u like the same song that much in other circumstances.

I am not sure. I have found that I have laid awake many nights humming a song I heard last. Maybe it is a way that our minds react to stress. Humming a familiar song keeps us from thinking about other stuff that we would rather not think about.

I think it means Its a catchy song that probably grew on you slowly. But I would say you have to like it if its on youir brain and you know the words and the beat.

No it's just one of those "catchy stupid" songs that you hate and you hate it so much you keep thinking about how much you don't like it.....so you keep thinking abou it. Turn some good music on and sing along maybe you can get it out of your head.

No, it just means that you hear it so much that you can't help but think about it. It has happened to me many times. Eventually, you'll get used to it.
