I figure if I wreck15 other people then there will be that many less people on the road using gas then the overall consumption will go down. No, really in about 5-10 years they'll have this alternative fuel thing figured out and we can tell the middle east to sit and spin on all that oil,

I went from a Jeep Wrangler to a VW Jetta tdi. Cut my consumption by 50%. I also walk more...


The onus is on the American people...as soon as we become a little socially responsible...and realize hummers aren't really that cool...and that we use more salt per mile of road than ever before, 4wd isn't REALLY necessary.

Bush is from Texas. A state with no real mass transit. I don't know what Bush was thinking or what he had been smoking but there is no way Texas is going to be able to cut 20%. This state is totally dependant on private transportation because we have so much land mass.

Already have by fifty percent. Did you know that we have the technology to have battery powered cars. Us peoples want power and nobody knows to make power out of a battery powered car. Another way is if you have to sit in rush hour traffic take a train or bus instead of driving. Another way is if you and a bunch of friends are going to have fun a another persons house or are going out carpool. That right there will save enough
