Because there are things about Nash that make him great, but he is not the best player in the league. There is truly no one best player in the league. There are many players that are the Best at what they do, Nash is the best PG hands down, Kobe is the best SG, Lamar Odom is the best SF, in my opinion KG is the best PF, and Yao is the best C. If you had all of these players on a team together they would go undefeated.
