Crack is a very powerful drug, been there done that, but recovery is available and is possible. I know someone who was a user on and off for 5 years and they have been clean now for 2 1/2 , the person has to want it more than they want crack............I know easier said than done, right, but I have been to treatment, not for Crack but for other things, and thats what keeps me "sober" believeing in a higher power and knowing that I could do it.
Best of luck!
A good web site to try is www.Sober24.com, its not only for alcoholics but other users too. As well as, the peoole around the addicts!

I wish I could believe, but I don't. My brother has been on and off it for years, and in and out of rehab. Our family has finally come to a place where we don't let ourselves lose sleep over it if we don't hear from him in a long time....you might have to distance yourself so you can recover from the trauma he's put you through and move on. OMG, I'm assuming it's not u on the crack, if it is your addiction, please take care and best best luck!!

8 years huh??? teeth rottied out...brain seared nearly into the consistancy of granola cerial, nerves shot, thoughts fermented in incompletness, motivations stagnate, asperations asswiped, dreams distroyed, expectations exhausted, finances fuked, relationships of any worth fermenting in the heart ake youve given them..... and you wonder if theres hope? left? ... what are ya hopeing for? a sober gram from God? He gave you so much to begfin with, every thing..!! and youve pissed it all away.
Here is a piece of advice... you wont find recovery with out help... God wont send you a sober gram,... and nobody else alive today [or who ever lived] will fix about you what you wont.

Yes there is always hope. There are alot of good support groups out there if you're serious about staying clean. If you relapse,DONT beat yourself up,keep moving forward.Addiction is a complicated thing.I drank for 15+ years and am recovering. In my own situation God has given me strength that I could've never found on my own.I've tried it "my way" and failed.Find strength outside yourself to help support you.Very best of luck to you!!!

Yes there is. But you need to stay strong and get off of that stuff. It's just wrong to begin it anyway.

Absolutely. Any half way house or hospital can have treatment. I don't know where you live so I can't give you any local numbers, but good luck and don't give up. =]
