MIcky D's isn't the only one I avoid. This fast food is nutritionally bankrupt!!! Hey, I'm a mom too and I admit sometimes the kids are hungary and you are already running late and it just needs to be done. But, I try then to make good choices, fresh is best and I go for that. I'd like to add that I worked in fast food for about 2 years in my youth. So I also understand their practices.

Though the movie did make an interesting point about the affects of fast food, I don't think it was reasonable. Not everyone supersized just because they were asked and I dont think people would keep eating McDonald's for 30 days in a row/ 3 times a day after what they felt was happening to their body. It doesn't take a genius to know that fast food isn't the healthiest food for you to eat. I never ate much fast food before the movie and I still don't now. I didn't quit eating fast food and I still feel the same about fast food restaurants (unhealthy but easy). Good for you not eating anymore fast food. Then you can work on further developing your brain. I would rather eat at McDonald's where you can see your food being fried than some 4 star restaurant where they take a dump and don't wash their hands before they cook your food and give it to you.

I actually wanted to go eat at McDonald's after I saw that movie!
I mean, who really eats at McDonald's THREE times everyday, supersizing every meal and eating way past being full? When I'm full, I'm done...and I don't order more than I want to eat.
I'm not sure where you live, but the double cheese burger is still on the dollar menu in Atlanta.

The film Super Size Me was a bit skewed, since no one in their right mind is going to eat there 3 times a day, every day. You'd be ingesting something like 5000-6000 calories and 150+ grams of fat per day if you ate 3 value meals. McDonald's is one of the worst when it comes to excessive fat content; by contrast, Wendy's food contains significantly less fat and tastes better to boot. I actually eat out quite often and have found that it isn't the food itself that is making people obese, it is their inability to self-titrate their portions. I seldomly buy the value meals, and usually get a baked potato or salad instead of fries when I do. I also never opt for the upzising-it's a ripoff (when you consider the amount you get vs the amount extra you're paying) and you don't need the extra calories. BTW, the double cheeseburger is still $1, at least around here (Seattle area).

Not me. Not too many people woul eat every single meal at McDonalds or any other fast food joint. Case in point: some guy *cant remember the name though..drat* also ate Mc Donalds just like in Supersize Me..only he did it the healthy way...ate salads, fruit, bottle water or diet soda and actually lost weight at the end. True, most people are going to want the burger and fries, but it just prooves it's a matter of willpower. The food doesn't make us fat. WE make ourselves fat

Yes I saw it, but I rarely ate there before because I do not like the taste of anything on the menu: The single reason I EVER ate at Mac 'n Dons Choke & Puke ( after I became an adult) is because of the people I worked under at the time. I have never eaten at that establishment by choice; by subservience, yes. Though never by choice. Sure I thank dude and respect him. He did something I never could have, in fact would have never considered doing even if I could. Oh yeah, I have never worked in a fast food restaurant of any kind. I was in construction.

No ...becuase the dude, morgan...was an idiot and totally unfair to the fast food industry.
Very few people eat mcdonalds 3 times a day for a month.
And if it is so bad for you...how come they showed that one guy who had eaten over 20 thousand big macs in his life time and he was FINE!
I love mcdonalds. Always have..and unless this trans fat thing screws up everything...I ALWAYS WILL!
PS they ahve the best fries and the best fountain soda!

Not me. I love McDonalds. Not much could change that unless I personally found something gross in something (none of those urban legend stories circulating about every restaurant). I think if you dine out anywhere three times a day you will get fat and unhealthy. Restaurants use fattier (is that a word?) foods. Moderation is always the key

Not me!
What really pisses me off about the whole thing is that Mc Donalds bought into this and got rid of supersizing.
Its like I go there to order a meal and have it supersized and I got to now argue with the girl taking my order that they do not supersize anymore.
If they don't supersize then fine, just give me large everything and charge me the difference. I think its more money now that they don't supersize!
