Reality only goes so far. There are no limits on what can be imagined. What else could it mean.

For instance, in reality, I am limited by my perspective (I can only be in my own personal experience...I cannot see into the mind or lives of others...maybe some people can, if there are truly psychics but perhaps they are even limited at some point)
I am limited by my fears (I would be too afraid to do ____, so I will not do it) Limited by my species (I cannot simply leap out of my window and fly) by my gender (I cannot know what it would have been like to be a man from birth)

In my imagination I can do all of these things, and so much more, many greater things. I can imagine a life or non-life existence different from anything I have encountered in reality. Imagination can make everything in the world into anything... infinite, boundless possibilities.

exactly in the way that you worded the question.
reality has it's own definitions that has bounds, it is governed
by the laws of physics. imagination is always going to be boundless because it is not restricted by logic or a mathematical
equation. but using imagination with the help of reality in the proper proportions, leads to the development to better ideas'
which, help humanity.

I like these on the subject of reality and imagination...

I personally think that reality is just as boundless ... and not limited.

The world of 'reality' inevitably causes pain, suffering, misery, and at the end of all that you get to die. Sometimes the only escape we harbor from our dismal day to day macabre is a simple daydream. A moment where we linger, and float a step away from oblivion. We let ourselves slide out of our troubles and slip into our desires. The world of imagination causes hopes, dreams, and a ticket out of our fleshy limitations.

It means that reality is finite (tangible, predictable, and able to be proven over and over) while imagination is infinite.

I don't entirely agree. As a wise man once stated "The universe is not only stranger than we imagine, it's stranger than we CAN imagine."

if you imagine that you have grown wings and are the most magical creature on earth is it true???
Well no, you can't grow wings and magic exists in fairytales ... that is reality but in your own world of imagination you can be who ever you want there are no limitations at all because your imagination does not understand limits yet reality does and unfortuneately that is where Most of us reside

It means that you are still looking at "reality" as limited, and at imagination as if it were something different than an extension of reality/or a different perspective of possible realities...

Expand your awareness to the near-infinite variations of reality their concomitant "imaginative" aspects...

or
reality and imagination are simply relativistic points of reference on the perception/insight continuum...

It means that reality is where you live and breathe and move and have your being; and the one true God created reality, but not the individuals imagination. So you should use your imagination to help you find ways to live sucessfully and prosper in your daily reality.

it only means that anything is possible ( when imagining things of course!!! laws of man/ nature;can be bended, stretched, reversed ,etc. ) WHEREAS in reality, everything and everyone is bound by laws just breaking a small one would mean some kind of penalty or punishment!!!
