Try the Vampire Kisses trilogy. Vampire Kisses, Kissing Coffins and Vampireville. I love them.

Katie McAltster has some. now there is some sex but the books are very funny. "sex and the single vampie"
Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter books are good as well. some sex again but great stories.

Christopher Moore has 2 books about vampires. They are neither scary nor sweetly 'romantic' but they are funny!

Try The Historian. I haven't read it, but from what I hear it lacks all the eroticism that Ann Rice puts into her novels.

there is twilight and its sequel new moon, by Stephanie Myer, these are very clean and the worst it gets is snogging
and there is sunshine, by Robin McKinley, it there is some sex, but its mainly destroy this vampire
