depends on what you mean by 'act gay'. if you are referring to the gay stereotype of effeminate, then yes...sometimes because they are effeminate straight men and sometimes because they are playing with or making fun of effeminate gay men.

Ah well, I have straight friends who can sometimes act gay without knowing it. The question here is "what exactly is acting gay?" Some people consider "acting gay" is your stereotypical gay, the one that likes to talk like an exagerrated girl. But I know gays who you would think WEREN'T gay until you asked them about it. So it depends on what sort of act you consider to be done by a gay.

some people have a gender nonconformity. This may be born in them or they may learn characteristics that make them heave gender nonconformity. Gender nonconformity is a seperate issue than homosexuality. Science may say it could be a predispoatition to homosexuality, but that could be because most kids with a gender nonconformity think or someone else thinks they may be gay.
Homosexuality is constructed:
The Formula For Producing A Homosexual
This formula can be illustrated in this way:
A Predisposition
Toward Homosexuality
Plus
That First
Homosexual Experience
Multiplied By
Pleasurable and Positive
Homosexual Thoughts
To Which Is Added
More Homosexual
Experiences
Multiplied By
More Pleasurable

Yeah, of course, there are straights that have, quote-on-quote, "gay" personalities but refuse to act their own personality because people will think they aren't straight. There's a lot more of these straights than you'd think. I have seen a few who don't care what others think though.

Sure. I don't understand it. But I've seen it, and I'm fine with it. If they want to act gay then let them have fun with it.
