I met an italian guy via internet more than 2 years ago,he's very passionate yet a bit aggresive. After dating twice, because he's always traveling to different countries(he's an international tour guide),we couldn't meet that often to get to know each other more,so we stopping dating, but still keep in touch by emailing. He always told me either by phone calls or emails that he loves me so much and misses me all the time, even he's never lack of women wherever he goes. I'm just too skeptical about what he said that I'm the only woman he truely loves. Can it be possible for a man(especially) to fall in love so easily and last for so long even not seeing the person in such a long time? Lately he's been emailing me and asked me to give us a second chance. I don't have any boyfriend now but a very good friend with benifits. Should I give that italian a chance again?

Don't be a fool. Any man in his position is enjoying the benefits of his profession. This relationship has no future on so many different levels.

I think you both need to find out what true love is and isn't. Read in the Bible, I Corinthians 13 "The Love Chapter" where it says love is patient and kind and seeks not its own way at the expense of others. Love isn't boastful or proud and always believes in the positive. This love is such that it will gladly give its own life to save the life of another. If love dies, it wasn't love in the first place, but something else, like lust. Lust will always fail you. It says of faith, hope and love that the greatest is love. This kind of love has kept my wife and I married for over 28 years.

If you don't have this kind of love, you are in serious trouble because whatever relationship you have will not last. It seems that this guy is far from this kind of love and he probably has many other girls on the side. I mean after all, you said he was an Italian. They couldn't even decide which side to fight on in two World Wars and kept changing sides as the winning sides changed. You think this guy is going to commit to you for your entire lives? Besides that, what kind of a relationship can you build only having phone calls or emails in the way of courtship? Get real. This guy is is like a neighborhood dog going from female to female as each one is getting into heat. In other words, until he proves to be faithful to only one girl, he isn't faithful to any at all. He is being no more than an animal. Forget him and move on to someone you really deserve, who will love you as Jesus said to love.

I suggest that you find a Bible believing church and join the singles group there. You will find that most will be practicing love the way Jesus did and you just might find the guy of your dreams who will make you the happiest girl on the earth.
