Situation is really bad.Forty percent of the Indian Population are below poverty line and lack minimum basic needs of food , clothing and shelter.
If people work harder and politicians and rich people wish , poverty can be eradicated in hundred years.

Are you talking about the Asian Indian or the American Indian? I think the American Indian got a bad rap but I see in some areas the government does try to help them in some ways. On the other hand some have casinos aod why can't those who make money share with other American Indians and share the wealth. I'm thinking it's probably because there are too many tribes and they don't want to help each other.

American Indians? I think we need to give them a ton of help because there isn't a darned thing out there in the desert but hot, hot ,hot and it's not like there's alot of industry out there because it's too darned hot. Who's going to put work out there for any one when it's a hard land to live in?
