What do u mean fix ur original C drive? The 2 installation u see its the boot loader. It sounds like the first one is working.... Now when ur in the windows do u see your C drive?

If so there is nothing wrong with ur PC. Sometimes when you reload or recover ur PC it happens. The Boot.ini file is a hidden file in the root of C: . it tells the PC how to boot the operating system. All you would have to do is delete the extra entry in the file by opening it up in notepad. Now that being said.... You should probably get help from somebody who is more savy to do this work, cause if u delete the wrong entry ur computer will not boot at all.....
I would not worry about it, but if it gets annoying do some research or seek help from someone who knows how to doit.

OK, how much free room do you have on the 200Gb? If you have enough room on the 200Gb then try to take the information you want saved from the 300Gb and transfer it onto the 200Gb. Compress using something like Winrar to save space if you need and only transfer what you want to keep, no BS stuff to waste space(something that can be easily or quickly re-downloaded- ie: yahoo messenger). After transferring then use the 300Gb as the primary drive and reinstall operating system on it, then transfer or re-download what you want back onto the 300Gb. I keep my largest hard drive as a back up and my smallest to run windows on plus I have partition on my primary drive, 1st partition is for windows or other speed intense applications, 2nd partition is for games or something like that but not speed intensive ones. First partition would be for speed intensive games and then you want to make sure you have room on that partition to hold those games- ie: Battlefield2142.

Did you put xp disc on both? If so you may need to try to hook it as second drive, and have the first xp format it. Your system may be trying to dual boot when you use the other drive, and it can't access the right program. You may want to call for service help.
