How has Ryan Seacrest became so rich and popular? Does he have any credentials at all? Did he go to college for anything or is he just a right place right time kind of guy? From what I have saw of him he doesn't do anything on American Idol, so why the popularity?

There is no sensible reason why he is famous, why he got a star on the walk of fame, he's an over-rated closet case who got his first run on a sh*t-show on a shameless network with no standards exchanging banter with an uptight Brit with a chip on his shoulder and a bank in his billfold.
He now co-hosts a 'news' segment about celebrities on E! for GOD's sake! How is it you can get this f*cking famous when you are so obviously only getting attention from sh*t-channels and low budget no-class cop-outs that should feel complimented to make the D-list like E!?
He's useless and talentless, but that happens way too often these days, look at Jessica Simpson, 50 Cent, Tom Cruise, American Idol, Paula Abdul, Paris Hilton, Tyra Banks, the entire Celeb-reality franchise and everyone involved, John Heder, Beyonce, Ron White, and many more. They suck, they're over-rated, they're media whores (most of them) they serve no function (just like all of Hollywood, but they manage to stick out as particularly useless in Hollywood) and yet they are exalted and enjoy the celebrity status they aren't even interesting enough to deserve. Celebrity status in the sense of Hollywood and the movie and music scene is any fame and reverence that is not deserved, is not earned, and is in no way shape or form a reflection of the quality their actions, but rather their ability to catch the common eye for a period of time, no matter brief or extended. Ryan Seacrest hasn't even done that, but somehow he is a celebrity that everyone knows, regardless of how they view him.

He's really cute, and he's dated Teri Hatcher. So that makes him somewhat popular. He's also on KIIS FM's morning show and you know he does Idol. His recent projects were Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve 2007 and Paradise City. His fame has increased also since his hostage of E! News, which premiered in 1996, and has gone on ever since. He hosts alongside Giuliana DePandi.

Ryan is a gossip guy he is much to interested in others business, I would be worried about him if he wasn't getting paid so much.
