It could be you have a virus that does not allow you to download antivirus, some virus block popular antivirus site from the user. Try some of these free ones http://www.basicspywaretips.com/freevirusremovaltool.html

But I would like to add that if your computer is on a network server, you might not have permissions to download any anti virus software.
