Dental Hygenist and Radiology Technician a female career?

Question

I'm thinking about both of these as a career and just wanted to know is this career field mostly for women? because most of the pictures i've seen only women...

There are more women radiologic technologists, but more men are joining us. In my class, 1 out of 6 was male. It isn't considered a girly job.

I believe the field is predominately female but there are males, although few, in both fields you mentioned. My brother is going into Radiology and his classes are pretty much split down the middle between male and female. However, a friend of mine is going to college for the Hygenist and her classes are almost all female. From personal experience, I have never had a male Dental Hygenist at any office I have been but I have had alot of male Radiologist. Hope this helps.
