I know PC's inside and out, but Mac's are a whole new language for me. What is so great about an Apple iBook? Are they quiet? Do the batteries last a long time? Do they run pretty cool? What is it about them?

Yes.. It's a MAC.. What more can be said? The battery life is excellent and it is very quite.

Their Kinda "Last Year" iBook G4's Are Now Replaced By MacBooks Which Now Runs On Intel Core 2 Duo Processors Giving Them More Power.

They don't really sell those new at apple anymore. The new intel Macbook line replaced those. Actually at my school they use ibook G4's The batteries are amazingly long, they last me 6+7 hours.They are great, because the are extremly portable which is very nice.

my perfect suggestion purely change lower back to homestead windows cuz homestead windows has so a lot more suitable apps and maximum laptops, netbooks are low priced and also the iBook g4 is previous through previous i propose truly previous and previous purely keep up and get lower back to homestead windows.

i heard that mac computers are almost immune to viruses due to most of the viruses being produced for pc's. also it's more user friendly cause all the files are in one spot not in a million places, so when you delete the file the only other place it could be is the recycle bin.

Who cares, apple is not the way to go. stay away from them. you cant do anything with them and cant use any other hardware with them except apple. Unless you use this for graphic stuff only they are just bad news. Take care Heather
