That is inappropriate, especially coming from a teacher. Alot of teachers do get comfortable with their surroundings and forget that they are there to show by example. It could of been a slip of the tongue and thinking out loud. But that is no excuse, the teacher should apologise to the former student even though they did not hear it.

Yes. We have a teacher, we'll call him Mr. H, and he does that kind of thing. He "looks" at the 8th and 7th grade girls and treats them specially. I hate that. Your teacher (and mine)'s actions were wrong and innapropriate for a classroom. But what you said was also innapropriate. You stooped to their level! Next time keep your mouth closed and tell what you heard to the principal or your mother. Talking about someone's parents like that (in a humorous way) is okay, but not in a classroom full of pre-teens!

In a room of older students that wouldn't have been bad but 7th graders is a bit out of order. If just one student was uncomfortable then it was inappropriate.

Very inappropriate. The class is too young to discuss what getting busy might mean. And she doesn't need to teach you guys to judge other people by how many children they have or for any other reasons.
I apologize for her - we are seeing the true "dumbing down" of America.

I think your teacher shouldn't have said that in front of the classroom, in the break room having coffee with anyone or anywhere in that school. There are kids here! Keep it clean!

very inappropriate for her to say this. I think you should speak to the principle or your parents if you're not comfortable. not only did she subject the students in the class to this conversation, she opened the other student up for ridicule. not cool. good for you for speaking out.

Yes for a 7th grade class, but then again most of you think you're grown anyways. I remember my freshmen year in high school my geography teacher basically laid out his sex life for us. He told us if he came to school bitchy it was because his wife and he hadn't done it the night before. Gross huh. There were a lot of bitchy days...

Yeah, that was really stupid of her. She probably will be in the news one day for messing around with a student.

Tell your parents. This is not right, and someone needs to talk to the Teacher!

I'd say it was inappropriate. What goes on in that girl's family is her own business and that's something she really shouldn't have said to the class.
