What color is the sky on your planet? His kind of QB? I didn't know defensive coordinators had a QB type. I think your crystal ball needs some work, the Steelers are just fine with Ben at QB.

I think it would be a BIG mistake because Ben Roth can play...He just hit his "rookie wall" later than most QBs. Fortunately, it was after a Super Bowl ring. Brady Quinn has upside, but not enough to warrant trading up. The Steelers should stay in a "win now" mode and can win the SB next season without doing anything outlandish. Use whatcha' got, and Get whatcha' want...Let's start on the other hand!!!

As an avid Tomlin fan (and a disgrunteled Vikings Fan), I havent heard this rumor. I doubt that Tomlin is thinking about that. Hes a defensive guy and will probably leave the offense to the coordinator. He never was an offensive guy and I cant see him starting now. Big Ben (while I dont think hes as great as his first year showed) is still a good QB and can do wonders with that offense. If they trade up, it will be for a wide receiver. Ward is getting banged up

WELL!!!!! Exactly what kind of QB does a hard A** want? Maybe one that wasn't rookie of the year, youngest QB to win a Super Bowl, or one who had a near death accident, appendectomy, and concussion in less then 9 mos.and kept going and kept playing even with a broken thumb , and came back faily quickly from that knee injury You dish it, he'll eat it up! Or maybe one that will give him a little lovin', since Ben is straight!
This Tomlin has already pushed how many coaches out the door? How many players will go too next year? Next he will want to pass a a Rooney relative. I hope they tackle his butt to the 50 yd line in Pittsburgh!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think Brady Quinn will be the answer. Notre Dame has only produced 1 qb that did anything. And that was Montana. I think they should try to trade to get that backup qb from the Falcons. He is young and is a great passer.

That would be the biggest mistake of the new century. He would be fired after one year and the Steelers would offer Cower $30 million a year for him to come back. Quinn and Troy Smith= Busts.
