Hey guys,
just wonderding what a good brand of nappies are? I find huggies are good and they look cute on my newborn but they are soo expensive. $40 a box of 100!!!!!! I have tried Babylove and found they leak from the sides (breastbaby, if u know what i mean)
And bub gets nappy rash easy too. I havent tried any other ones yet.
I just dont want to go out and buy other brands and find they have the same problems and then not want to use them. I feel i would have wasted money.
Thanks guys
teags

The best brand is one that fits YOUR baby. Just buy small packs and see what works best. You can always sell the opened packets online (eBay, Craigslist) or donate them. Not all diapers are cheap, welcome to life with kids. If you want "cheap" then go cloth.

As for diaper rash, baby aquaphor always worked wonders for us.

My daughter got diaper rash real easy too and I found that she could only wear Huggies (I tried a lot). Pampers she got BAD rashes from. The Walmart store brand leaks really bad. Those two were the most severe, but the rest would either leak, fall apart, or give her a rash. Most of the diapers have perfumes in them and Huggies does not. Also, don't buy Huggies Supreme - they fall apart and leave little jelly like balls all over baby's bottom. The original Huggies are best in my opinion. They may be expensive, but you save on diaper rash creme. Depending on how bad your baby gets rashes, you may want to try cloth diapers. Hope this helps!

I say you look into going to Wal-Mart or K-Mart and you might find something like the Huggies or Pampers that where I get my kids Pampers from and it wasn't even $30.00 for over a 100 dippers in the box. Or if you don't have one around you ha ha try going on their web sites and see if you can order it off of there.

My son got "diaper" rash (sorry from the other side of the pond) all the time from disposable diapers. We tried every single brand available. We switched to cloth diapers and he has never had a rash for the last year. He just got over diarrhea and didn't get one, while his cousin in disposables has a bad rash. Check out www.diaperpin.com to see what the new cloth diapers are like. I save tons of money, I never have to run out and buy new diapers when I run out, I just wash them ;)

Don't be taken in by cute, or recognizable name brand. The reality is you pay for that stuff -- commercials, trademark cartoons, promotional material, fancy packaging all cost money...and since it's diapers, you'll just be pitching it a few hours later anyway. I buy (in bulk) the generic diapers at the grocery store -- no extra gas money for the trip either. I've actually done a comparison between them and some more mainstream diaps like pampers and could not see the difference.

Hey redpeach, I don't know where you live, but that's not the going price here! The largest boxes of pampers run about $32-37. Try www.1800diapers.com. They have free shipping and the largest boxes. Saves lugging them in from the car and around the store in your cart. I love it!

I loved HUggies but kept having leaks all the time! I had to try the other diapers and same thing, gave him a rash.

I now use LUVS no leaks and cheaper!
