The Dr's office where you got your contacts should teach you how to insert your contacts and they should not let you leave until you know how to sucessfully learn to do this and can show then you know how.
If you don't know how to insert your contacts you need to go back where you were fitted for them and have them show you and DO NOT leave until you feel secure in your abilities.

first wet your finger a little bit so the contact doesnt stick on. then take your contacts and put it on that finger, and use the other hand to open the eyelid up and just gently put it in. when you think you've got it, blink for a while and let go of the eye lid hand. if it falls out, rinse the contact lense and try again.
it might take a while if you're just starting, so i wouldnt do it before school...spend time on the weekends, and otherwise it's just tons of practice

Just doing it a few times is probably the best way, just get used to touching your eye I guess. It was weird when I first got mine, but now I dont even need a mirror or anything, i just pop em in and out like nothing, itll get better

At first it was scary for me too. I actually had to have my friend put them in at first. It is actually really easy to do.Just put the contact on te tip of your finger while at the same time opening your eye and slip it right on the iris. Don't get frustrated if it doesn't go right on just move over with the tip of your finger. God Bless!!!!!!!

1 - Dont be so scared of your eyes... it's an instinct to blink when you touch them but you will eventualy learn not to
2 - Practice in the mirror, I dont even need a mirror anymore
3 - Dont have long fingernails, then it's REALLY hard
It's so easy its just getting past step 1 that tales a little time, good luck.

Soft lenses? Or gas permeable?
You should get instructions when you are fitted. And it is practice, practice, practice.
It's easy once you get used to it.
