A rack is an open cabinet for putting the equipment. So the open space is the rack space that you can use to fill the rack with amps, servers, any other equipment that can be rack-mounted.

There is a British company by that name that rents out server service to companies needing Internet server; but generally, a computer server has a standardized size and form unrelated to PC form; a unit of that is kinda thin and rectangular and meant for several units stacking up in a rack.
