Why hasn't Yahoo added cheerleading in the Answers. I admit some people don't think it's an actual sport but the girls (and guys) are pretty athletic and there is some competition involved. Plus, they got a section for HANDBALL??? and POOL?? What the hell!!!Shouldn't pool be considered in the games section instead.
Just trying to start a revolution here...ADD CHEERLEADING!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this!!!

Cheerleaders are very hot...but I don't know if they have enough support to get a section here. But you're right..handball is pretty lame.

Cheerleading isn't a sport, it's an activity. How can it be a sport when it's done during sports?
Edit: Next there will be people wanting to make running after those missed tennis balls a sport, because the people who stand off to the side of the courts and do that really have to be athletic, and it's difficult.
BTW You can't be a cheerleader without cheer. Spouting anger isn't cheery.
Edit: Performing Arts sounds about right. You're doing it in front of an audience, there are rehearsals beforehand, and there is both structured and free-form cheerleading done.

For many, cheerleading is not seen as a sport, but many people do not understand that it is much more that shaking your pom-poms on the side lines It is more aligned to gymnastics with all the timing moves that they have to perform and not crash to the parquet floor in a heap

Well Pool definately is not a sport, but neither is cheerleading. So neither of them should be in the sports section. It doesn't matter how much talent or skill or how great of shape you have to be in for cheerleading.

because someone/enough people have to want it, and ask for it and start it. If you want it so bad, why don't you ask to have it started and hope there is enough support
