According to:

"ebony: A recessive autosomal mutation in body color, resulting in dark bodies rather than the usual beige. Wild-type allele is E, and the mutant is e."

Monohybrid just means you are only studying one trait at a time. I don't think "monohybrid or dihybrid" has anything to do with it.
