I have never heard anything about standing on an egg. Unless it's petrified, it will just get egg all over your shoes.
There is discredited old folk wisdom that claims a raw egg can be made to stand up by itself on the spring or fall solstice because of the position or balance of the earth. It's been tried many times and simply isn't true.
What is true is that you can determine whether an egg is raw or has been boiled by trying to spin it. Boiled eggs spin; raw eggs don't.

A light person might be able to stand on an egg if the egg was standing straight up (that is the cone part are in the north and south position) because the egg is the strongest in that position.

If you were to build cups for the two ends that exactly fit the egg, so the weight can be evenly distributed, yes. Or, you can bury the egg in sand and stand on the sand.
