You bet. There's a whole lot of people out there who seem to be under the impression that Israel is the bad guy in this conflict, but I'd be willing to bet they're the same people that believe that the USA is the bad guy in Iraq. We have a term for them in Rochester. They're called STUPIDOONS

Israel isn't pursuing peace. They have done everything they can to the Palestinians except dropping a nuclear bomb. The Palestinians have made some mistakes. But considering everything they have done just to stay alive, well, a few mistakes ( by Yasser Arafat ) can be understood. The Israelies should be grateful to the UN for all the Palestinian land given to them in 1948 and just walk away, considering themselves very lucky. But they got greedy and this was exacerbated by the unrelenting support of the USA. So no, I do not support the Israelies "quest" for peace. By any other definition, it is a quest to completely subjugate the native Palestinians in thier own homeland.

Of course. All they want is peace. It's just that the world doesn't want to leave them alone and totally recognize them as a sovereign people with a God-given land. The Israeli people have never insisted in starting wars with anyone of any nation, but all of a sudden we have these crazy arian's blaiming the jews for their economical mishap's, we have an influx of middle easterners immigrating to Israel claiming to be palestinians. Sorry my Middle Eastern Jewish hating friends, but Judea was renamed Palestinia by the Roman's who also hated the Jews. It's sad that we have to blame another race for our own misfortunes, or failures. The sad thing is that it's repeated over and over again. Here in the United States, people are us mexican's Why? Well I suggest to all those hating mexican's, or jews, that they should instead blame their parents for giving them such a bad example. Anyways you get the point.

What quest for peace? If they would want peace they would held some peace talks not attack all the countries surrounding them and then complain that the Arabs don't want peace...
See Lebanon's case...They destroy an entire country and then say that they are ready to hold peace talks with them...Why would Lebanon ever accept this?

Nope. If they wanted peace, they should have never thrown the Palestinians out of their land and houses. They couldn't just re-assimilate after the war, no, they had to build their own faith-based society in the middle of Muslim Central. Which is why we are in the mess we are in today.

Supporting Israel would be a lot more morally digestible if there weren't any of those crazy-assed settlers taking pot shots at Palestinians. Other than that, I think Israel should be supported.

Yes. 100%. No country in the world wants peace more than Israel, & no country has less chance of obtaining peace.

Hmmmm, let's look at this quest from an Israeli perspective:
I am going to steal your land, put you in jail, kill lots of your people, take away your freedom. Then we can have peace. OK?
Nah....I wouldn't support that, thanks.
