You have to set the speakers and surround sound up through a receiver and from the reciever you can use one wire that goes to your speaker port to listen to your computer on the speakers. I can't recall the name of the wire but we bought one at radio shack and it is only like $5. They will know what it is. Same wire can be used to hook up a mp3 player to your surround system also.
