The inverse functions of sin is arcsin (sin^-1).

tan (25) = x/250 can be solved by evaluating tan(25) * 250 = x,
for sin(x) = 8/13 simply use the inverse function of sin: x = arcsin(8/13)

tan of 25=x over 250
x= 250* tan25 = 250(.4663) = 116.577

sin x= 8/13
x = arcsin (8/13) = 37.98 degrees

for the first one: tan(25)=x/250

you just have to multiply by 250

but for the second one you have to use the arcsin function on your graphing calculator.

x is 250 divided tan to the power of 3.14. then divide the answer by 5 The answer is 1.324

hang on....ah no its 1.432, I accidentally counted the wrong finger on my hand.
