I think I already told you in your other question you can get it off ebay. They show the prices also. I have researched this before as a sculptor. You will have a hard time finding it anywhere else where it is affordable. I get all my chemicals off ebay for patina's etc. You will save the most money this way.. I suggest you also look for the various chemicals you will need for glazes also on ebay. Make sure you look for glyerin also on ebay.

Having said that. If it is a common chemical in ceramics, then the art supply store may have it. You can also call a drug store and ask them how much it is and make sure you ask if it is 100%

Glycerol is the technical name for glycerine. The price fluctuates quite a bit as a commdity. Ususally it is less than $1 / lb. for commercial quantities.

Vegetable grade carries a higher price than animal grade

You can probably get up to date pricing in the Wall St. Journal or any paper that publishes commodity prices.

You can get bottle at any drug store for a couple of $. I think I used some for hand lotion.
