One memorable time I stupidly decided to wear penny loafers a few days after a snow-storm. I had to walk about 1/4 of mile to the bus stop and the snow had melted and then frozen into a sheet of ice. I must have fallen at least 10 times by the time I got to the bus stop. Serves me right for wearing penny loafers instead of Docs...what the heck was I thinking? I guess I must have felt in a 50's mood that day, silly goose!

Try walking down a ramp after the snow freezes. Talk about a fall waiting to happen!

Not for many years. Last time I saw snow was back in 1984.
