I would like to see either team win. If the Colts win, it will be a milestone in a stellar career for Peyton Manning and give him the confidence he needs to be a Hall Of Fame quarterback. If the Bears win, it will be a great compliment to the running of formerly dejected running back Thomas Jones and one of the best defensive units I have seen in my 30 years of football watching. So who do I think will win? I have no clue. The two teams are equally dangerous and can burst on fire at any time. I personally will be happy either way.

Well, first of all; lets talk about Grossman. He's a type of player who seems to gamble alot with the passing game. He likes to throw the long ball. Problem is: The Colts defense ranks 2nd in the NFL against the pass!!!! So if Chicago is gonna win, they better hope the can get first downs by running the football. If they can't run the football, they will not win! You know how they beat New Orleans? THEY RAN THE FOOTBALL! Does defense win championships? SURE! But if your Quarterback and your offense cannot not reward the efforts of your defense and score touchdowns, FORGET IT! I like Grossman, but I just don't see him taking the Colts pass rush very well. He simply will not have time to be comfortable like he was against New Orleans. People don't realize how fast the Colts defense is! And they pick on the Colts for their past troubles of stopping the run. They do this without remembering that 5 starters for the Colts defense where out with injuries when they couldn't stop the run. Now; they are all back! The only ones who are not playing are Corey Simon and Mike Doss. But Booger McFarland was signed by the Colts to fill in for Simon. So really they are only short one guy! If the Colts don't win this year look for them to dominate the league next year! If they stay healthy we could see another defense like the Tampa Bay defense that won the superbowl a few years back against Rich Gannon and the Raiders! If this team ever gets that well balanced, they will dominate the league for a few years like the Patriots and Cowboys did! Next Year they will have Simon and McFarland up front on defense!!! Thats gonna be interesting! So I think its the play of the Colts defense that will decide the winner of this game! And I think Grossman will have serious problems throwing the football against a 2nd ranked pass defense who can really irritate even quarterbacks like Tom Brady!! It was an interception by Marlin Jackson that sent Brady home! And Rex Grossman isn't even a pubic hair to Tom Brady when it comes to Quarterback ratings. But Rex is a great person though. You cannot help but like the guy and feel for him because of all the Bullshit he has been through. I'm just stating the facts! I look for Dwight Freeney being in Grossman's grill forcing him to throw the ball quicker than he wants too. I also look for Freeney to get a sack and a fumble against Grossman. EVEN THE 6'7 Jonathan Ogdon of the Baltimore Ravens could not stop Freeney or Robert Mathis from getting to the quarterback! These guys are extremely quick! And the Bears defense is good. But not good enough to shut out the Best quarterback in the league. And I think in order for Chicago to win this game they would have to completely shut down the Colts offensive attack. I don't think they can do that.

Either one will be great but i'm kinda going for the colts. I live 4 hrs from Indy and 6 hrs from Chicago so I'm happy these are the two teams playing this year. we are having our annual party this year and it is probably will be the best ever because the fans will be divided between the two teams. Of the 40 people coming, we know that there are lots of die-hard colts fans as well as bears fans. Lots of money will be gambled!!!

Well, we will have to see. Hopefully Mannings thumb is not broken or badly sprained. The way he was throwing at the end of last weeks game was not Peyton-like. Then again, if he does have to play with a bum thumb (hehe im a poet) then maybe it will put him on par to play against Rex Grossman who is not in Peytons league to begin with. Maybe this will be a battle of the defenses. I predict a very low scoring game. But I still think the Colts will win by a field goal (thanks to Adam Venitari ((sp?))

before i answer, i gotta argue with your best defense in 30 years thing. 1985 bears, hello?

i want the colts to win because peyton deserves it more than any other quarterback i've ever seen. as far as who i THINK is going to win, i dunno. I think it all depends on grossman. if he can get a good passing charge going, then i think the bears could still win. but if they can't...

the last line that i saw was they (indy) were giving the bears 7 points. which is the team i want to win. this changes just about everyday so keep on top of the odds (which for the most part, don't mean a thing) at nfl.com .

Hate both teams, but I hate the Colts more. The Bears will win. Rex Grossman doesn't deserve to even be in the playoffs let alone the Superbowl, but he will win it.

Bengals next year.
