Every time my 11 month old does this I know it's time for the next size up of diapers. :)

I also have gotten in the habit of dressing him in a onesie underneath every single outfit. That way, when the "poopsplosion" occurs, it gets all over the onesie but often doesn't soak through to the cute outfit. At least not so badly that it wrecks the clothes. Onesies are great for poop containment in a pinch.

When the poop does get through to his clothes, I find that nothing works like OxyClean to take care of it.

Both of my children have done the same thing. I think the trick is finding the diaper that "fits" their body best. My son, the only thing that worked is Luvs, and for my 5-month-old, she blows out of everything except Pampers. All diaper brands are different, just like all babies are.

This happened to me all the time! I just put on a little larger diaper and the problem was solved. Also make sure its a little higher in the back sometimes it can creep down. Good Luck and hopefull your laundry load gets a little bit lighter.
