I want some songs for working out and some for waking up to. I am a newbie, so I need specific directions with the steps to be taken to do this. I did the to-go-list, it transfered the workout songs and now I want to separate the wake up songs and have that list used as my wake up songs. Can I set the alarm to a particular to-go-list and how do I do that? The "master list" is what always comes on with the alarm.

I noticed when I went to itunes that I have 4 to-go-lists. I don't know how I created the second to fourth lists and now, I don't know how to add to or delete those lists.

Thank you so much for all your help. And can I email anyone if I don't understand your answer? Thanks

You need iTunes, but I assume you have it. You need to create playlists and put songs into them in order to transfer those songs. To delete playlists, go back onto iTunes with your iPod connected and click the 'X' when in sync mode. Sync mode is when you select your iPod on the devices list in iTunes. It is a window which shows you all the playlists. When you are done, click on apply and the new changes should take effect.

As for your alarm, I'm sure you can only put a beeping noise, a song, or the master list as the functioning sound.

Delete the extra on-the-go lists on iTunes, by pressing the "delete" button on the keyboard, and it will automatically delete it from you iPod the next time you update it.
