How many democrats and neolibs can say how pleased they are with Bush for funding all their beloved social programs, including the ones that clinton cut funding for?

I can say he was wrong for doing that. Can you disagree with me?

Or are you trained so well to hate him that you are not allowed to say anything positive about him?

I don't have a list handy, but clinton cut about a dozen of them, and Bush re-funded them. Many school programs, and gov't assistance

I've said a few positive things... but that wouldn't be one of them... I would personally like to have seen some more actual restructuring of social programs... more of a "teach a man to fish" and actually TEACH him...

but the programs are clearly needed in some form...

As a liberal I will tell you that no President could be charged with doing nothing good for the country. I don't like Bush but he has done many things right. Just not enough and has done too many things wrong. I think that they should totally stop the social programs and take $20 Billion of the dollars spent in Iraq and revamp all the programs. Clinton created many more programs to help minorities and lower income citizens and didn't spend $100+ Billion on making the country of Iraq worse and creating more terrorists.

After 9/11 when he ordered troops into afghanistan to go after osama bin laden, I was 100% behind him. I thought he was doing the right thing and these were the people that attached the United States. But somewhere along the way, like back on January 23rd of the same year, he lost his way. he lost his objective.
It has been over 5 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center and on the Pentagon and Osama Bin Laden is walking around free.
Bush fed the UN and the United States with lies in order to attack Iraq. The attacks on 9/11 gave him the backing he desperately needed to go back to Iraq. He knew that a war in Iraq would be a hard sell because there were no weapons of mass destruction. They weren't building any and they didn't have any. So he used scare tactics and lies to sell his case.
Americans took the bait and congress gave the authority to do what he wanted.
Now, we are so buried in Iraq because of his failed policies, there are only two options left. Either send another 200,000 troops to get the job done, or tell the IA (Iraqi army) that they have 6 months and the defense of their country is up to them.
It takes three months to turn out a soldier that is combat ready and willing to die for his country, yet we have been training Iraqis for 4 years and they still can't do it. They don't want us to leave because they will have to fight their own war. thats crap.
We need to leave now.

Honestly the Biggest issue I have with the President is about his wasteful spending!! Haliburnton's no bid contract drives me insane it's a slap in the face to all tax paying Americans!

I have always said that the war, could be debated etc. However Haliburntons no bid contract can not be debated. I don't hate the President there are even some issues I agree with him in, NOT SPENDING!!!

Can you name these social programs that you speak of? Or are you trying to be like Bush and become a liar? I can tell you now that most people are not disapproving of Bush for his domestic policies, but for his foreign; like the invasion of a country just for the hell of it and made up lies to get there.
