Well, iguanas, as reptiles, are ectotherms, so she can only get as hot as her environment.

Use a thermometer to check the temperature inside her enclosure to see that her basking spot is about 88-95o. She should also have a spot around 75o if she gets too hot. She will move back and forth to find the temperature that suits her.

If the temperature is too high, you can raise any heat/lights so they're farther away from her enclosure or get her a smaller wattage bulb.

Also, don't use a heat rock to provide her heat (use a lamp or ceramic heat emitter)!

it might be sick, or the light is too strong, but you can probably put some ice packs wrapped in towels, i the tank. And you could spray the iguana and the tank, to cool it down

it might be sick or have a temperture. or is the light in the cage to strong try to figure it out and if things go bad take it to the vet. fast.
