All the other countries bordering France like Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Belgium all have no black people. So where are all those black people in France coming from?

France has ties to various African nations, whose inhabitants have migrated there. Most are Algerian or Moroccan.

Most come from Algeria as it is just across the water from them.
They come there for a better life and they know that France will accept them. Some of the other countries you mentioned will not readily accept Africans, Middle Easterners, and South Americans.
France is heavily populated and they can fit in there.
I had a foreign exchange student from France a while back and he was Algerian. I was not aware of that until he arrived. His two brothers were also exchange students staying with other families. I got the youngest and he was 14 and did not speak any English. He somehow slipped through as they are supposed to be fluent.
He stayed with us 4 weeks and was a problem from the first day. He hated Americans and kept raising his hands and repeating French Rule. He was beating up the neighbor kids, nasty language, and did not fit in. This was his first time far from home and he was not too nice. But I did teach him some English.
He told me many Algerians live in France and they love it there and they bring their relatives all in. They left Algeria because of poverty and bad government.
One thing I can say was that he was Smart as a whip.

The french immigrants mainly came from Arab countries like Algeria and Morocco as France shred apart both countries by invasion before. Then there are the Black Africans who mainly came from Franco-lang countries in Africa, in which those countries were taken too by France. So the most European countries that have those black immigrants, are the main countries that invaded their homelands years ago.

Yes, the answer is pretty simple.. One, because France speaks French, which many Africans do as well which makes them more comfortable. Secondly, France is a developed Country unlike most of Africa. It would be appealing to any person from a 3rd-World Country looking to get out of poverty.

just goes to show how small white folks wrold is. If they are in France, they can't well be African-American now can they. That is why I say just stick to black. The former colonial powers have the most Afrcan immigrants. For obvious reason (maybe not so obvious to some).
But there are African immigrants all over Europe, at least last time I was there.

France used to be colonial metropole. France Used to be very proactive about imposing french in it's colonies. There for there are plenty of Africans who speek french.
Furthermore, France immigration laws have been for a long time quitte permissive more permissive then in most occidental countries.
Therefor France as long been a good choice for migrants

That comes with colonization, you first visit them and then they visit you. In 400 years all French people will be cafe au lait! To Mr Lepen's despair but who cares, I don't. For example, you cannot count the Romans or the Normands in Britain today.

I can answer that because I am Norwegian/Moroccan. Africans go to France, alot of them because they know French, because certain countries in Africa soeak french, and to have a better life. Just as how Puerto Ricans go to NYC, for a better life.

What part of Germany were you in? There are armed forces guys there, what part of Switzerland were you in I have a couple of family members who are there,they own cafes and a bar, what part of Italy were you in, I have a pen pal there, and what part of Belgium were you in a also have a couple of pen pals there.
