You could be anemic. See your doctor. If you've had 4 pregnancies, you need iron probably from the blood loss in each pregnancy.

Also when you have your period your hormones are acting up, so see your doctor, you need some rest!

I too have been pregnant recently and am just starting my 3rd period since and it is really heavy. I have been noticing for the last 3 days that I have been really dizzy as well. But unfortunately I don't have an answer as to why. I don't remember being dizzy from a period before. Must have something to do with hormones

I can't be sure about you, but it always happens to my wife. The reason is because she has anemia (low blood pressure). Also, it might be that you aren't getting enough iron in your diet.

Do you get cold at night even if it is not really cold out? That is one of the typical signs of low blood pressure.
But it is best to talk to your doctor.
If it is anemia, there is a special vitamin supplement you can buy. Just make sure that it is a good brand.

Are you anemic? If you are low in iron, that can make you feel ligh headed. I know am slightly anemic and I get this way sometimes. I suggest that you find out on your next check up. They may have you take iron supplemts.

Also I would increase my in take in foods that are high in iron. This is the only reasonI can think of because you loose alot of blood when you are on your cycle.

You could be anemic (low iron) or have low blood sugar. Try drinking some juice to raise your sugar level. If that doesn't work then try taking a multi-vitamin with iron, or just an iron supplement. Hope this helps!

My wife suffers the very same problem, usually on her first day. She has been known to black out sometimes.
I have told her to get advice about this from her doctor.

You might have an iron deficiency. Talk to your doctor to be sure it is not something worse.
