It gets worse. Recently some who raped children have spent less time in jail than a drunk driver. It's sick.

A lot is wrong with that picture.
I always wondered why my neighbor who was growing pot in his backyard is still in jail, while everyday I see another pedophile on the news that did something vile to a child after being let out of prison.
I say we pass a law that states if you commit pedophilia, are a sexual predator of any kind, or a premeditated murderer, you either die (or since I don't see the merit in the death penalty because of cost) or you go to jail for life with no possibility of parole. You will never see the light of day.

You would think they would make the minimums really low for drug offenses in order to inflate arrest statistics, further generate propoganda promoting this 'war on drugs', get more funding to line pockets and waste on this fruitless fiasco of stupidity.
Even members of the law enforcement community don't agree with this mindless 'war.'

It is kind of crazy but it beats the sentences in the Middle East. In Iran this young girl Nazanin was sentenced to death for defending herself against rapists. Thanks to international outrage, she has recently been exonerated.
