I want to get Sims 2, and I'm 17 years old, but my Dad is very cautious about games that say sexual themes. Does it show anything like that in the game? How bad do you think it is really? If anyone could let me know I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Although the game lets you "woohoo", it is still a life simulator. There is nothing deviant or gratutious about it, and your dad may actually like the fact that woohoo in TS2 is muh like real life in that it is risky. Then you have to deal with the Sim being pregnant and constantly complaining, missing work, and having to raise a child, which is quite tedious!

I'm 14 years old. I have the Sims 2, and it has nothing inappropriate in it!
If you wanted to take a shower, the screen will blur. There is only the "WooHoo", which happens in bed. But the Sims go under bed for that. You don't even have to do it.
I say that the Sims 2 is safe!!!
Plz, send me an email to samour_312 and tell me if your dad accepted to buy it!

one element that folk typically ignore is that the Sims 2 has lack of life, and typically rather violent lack of life at that. (Sims getting burnt alive, for starters.) a pal of mine idea her 6 12 months previous become mature adequate to play the Sims yet what she did not assume become her little woman being actually distraught at the same time as her Sim died. This little woman had watched her Sim strengthen from a toddler by ability of to an human being and he or she loved her then abruptly she become taken remote from her unexpectedly. She become hysterical and it had a great effect on each body interior the family members for weeks. So please take that into consideration at the same time as wondering about paying for the game.

There's nothing inappropriate about The Sims 2. The only remotely sexual thing about it is the Woo-Hoo interaction, and the sims do it under the bedcovers. Thirteen-year-olds play the game, and I think that's an okay age for it.

There ARE some custom downloads that I suppose you may consider risque or whatever. But you can always choose to avoid them. :)

Well if you're 17, you should definitely be able to handle anything in the game...All that it means by "sexual themes" is when they "woohoo", but they don't show anything graphic. You don't even have to worry about the sims taking showers...everything is censored.

I played since i was i think like 12 and nothing is wrong with it it is all blurred and clean. IT is like a pg movie. The bad things are trying for baby or who hoo which are not bad. Does not show anything. IT is fun expessically the expansion packs. Even though most people already told you this stuff i hoped i helped. (way more positive stuff like doing homework going to work running a bussiness learning to be reasponsible etc.) thanks

There is some sexual themes. But nothing inappropriate or nothing a 17 year old already hasn't seen.

Your dad is overreacting. They don't show any nudity in the game; if a sim is taking a shower, on the toilet, or woo-hooing in bed, everything is blurred out and/or covered. You're plenty old enough to play this game.

There is no nudity as such. Any time a sim takes their clothes off for showers or bathroom breaks it's blurred.

As for the "woohoo" well you don't see anything anyway.

It doesnt show anything, but it just suggest them. It lets you have sex, but its called woohoo and its a stupid video plays to suggest what they reall doing. Other than that its perfectly, just watch out ehre you download skins from.
