You should have the IBM Record Now software. In some models you can insert a blank CD, open the disk up. Windows may prompt you to format the disk which is fine. You then copy and paste the file to the drive.

Afterwards you have to right-click on your cd-rom drive in My Computer which is typically drive D: and choose "Make Compatible".

Worst case scenario would be if you didn't actually have a CD Burner in the notebook.

You Type and Model is on the bottom on a sticker with a black bar. I have a 2623-DAU, use the same format and lookup the product specs on www.lenovo.com. You can click on any link pretty much.

If you see CDRW or Combo, that would be a CD Burner.

To save it to a disk

Open the powerpoint presentation,
go to, file
save as
and save it to the disk.

To burn it to a CD (if you have a CD burner), find the file in wondows explorer, right click on the file, and hit "send to" and have it go to the cd drive.

Then burn the cd (you should be prompted to write the files).
