I'd go to work. I think if you get thrown from a horse, you get back on it to put your fears in their place. I don't understand why you want to be a victim, choose to be a champion and get back to work.

If you really feel like you need to say home and rest/settle your mind then you should. Life is not about working. It is about life and living it to the fullest.
However, if you sit home you may just sit and think about it all day and worry yourself more!
My suggestion if you really feel the need to stay home. Sleep in and then spend the day keeping yourself busy to not think about the accident and really set your mind at ease!! Try spending the day with someone else, shopping, or watching movies!
Goodluck!

Going into work should get your mind off it. Depending on what kind of job you have. Sometimes it helps if you have to focus on something else to rid your mind of a stressful time. I would go in and if you find it hard to manage your job then explain to boss. At least your showing your boss you made some effort to come in.
Good luck.

If your job allows you to be away for a day, if I were you, I would just stay at home relax, because if you force your body or mind to do something when you are not feeling well emotionally and phsycally, things might get worse or go to the wrong direction. good luck.

Go to work. Returning to a normal routine, and being able to tell your experience to your co-workers, will help alleviate any stress.
