When the inspiration is gone the talent goes with it. You just have to find something to inspire you.

No. 1 -Don't worry if it's coming out good or not. I went through a period where I was struggling with this as a teen. I
would get so frustrated when I tried to draw or paint . Everything just seemed to come out bad. I'd judge it too harshly right from the start and I would never stick with it just for the sake of drawing. I started to learn That I had to draw for the joy of drawing , Creating. Instead of having it "look good". Go back to coloring books, paint by numbers, tracing, something simple. Anything that makes you enjoy the process of drawing or painting and not worry about the result.
Try to draw different subjects. try to limit yourself to two minutes, for a drawing. You won't have time to think whether it's good or not.
Once in art school we had to look at a subject in one room and then run next door to the next room and paint it. LOL believe it or not most of use had a great time. And it produced some interesting paintings.
And it doesn't matter how much art you produce. Everyone works at a different pace. Sometimes I'll go months without painting. But I will be collecting ideas, and pictures and plotting and planning. Sometimes the process I go through in order to create a painting is just as fun as painting it.
It would be great if you could take a class.I think it might help you to approach things from a new angle. If you can take a class that teaches expressivenesses more than technique that might help. Try new subjects. try sketching in different ways.
there's a good site:
http://drawsketch.about.com/od/learntodraw/Beginner_Drawing_Lessons_Learn_To_Draw.htm
they have tons of info there. lessons, discussions, etc. this might help you.
Hope you find you're way through this.Relax and I think you will.

Go to life drawing courses, preferably an open studio if you have taken lessons before. I find this always helps with my mental blocks also it gets you loosened up for other things.

If you can't afford that get your friends or families to pose for you or go to a cafe and draw the people there. You can also try still life drawings for the same reason.

Look through books and practice drawing from paintings and images you see there especially look at the classics (from the rennaisance) I have a lot of art books to look through for inspiration.

Most of all if you've been out of it for awhile it takes a little time to get back in the swing of things. Don't get discouraged. If you do something and think it sucks move on to something else just keep at it. Keep the images you've done and after practicing again for a month look back on them and see how much you've improved, that's always a good ego boost.

Give yourself time like you said you jst started.
I enjoy art myself and jus from personal expericence take time to work on something at home maybe a project that you already did that you enjoyed and kind of do a recreation of it compare both side by side and pick the things out that are the same or things you did different that changed the peice for the better you know? (sorry about all the spelling mistakes I'm in a rush) hope it helps

Just keep sketching, keep a journal. Check out "100 Ideas". Fill up your journal - if some days you get horrid results, persevere. Afterall, art is meant to be fun, get back into it while having fun. Don't force yourself into it to produce beautiful pieces, because when your heart is in it, beautiful pieces will come. =)

Good luck!
