Because NO ONE is trading away pitching. This one has nothing to do with the Devil Rays.

Pitchers would cost them more money and they only play every 4 days... They are probably basing their team off of speed because of their ballpark, and pitching is not top on their list...

Who really knows what some of these owners are thinking these days! I live in kansas... and the Royals are a freaking mess too

They've been trying to trade Upton and Delmon Young but no one's biting. Good low cost pitching is gold these days.

Im sorry to tell you this but I don't think the management really cares that much about winning. They just care about getting enough cash to profit over a very low payroll.
