Everything. I've watched it since I was a kid and it was on Monday nights.
I love the simplicity of it how it is the small things in life that makes a difference. The closeness of the family, how they are always there for one another. The morals and of course the characters. All the characters, Micheal Landon was a genius. Melissa Gilbert was a perfect Laura.
I agree with watching Loves Abiding Joy, actually all four of the movies from the series are wonderful. Michael Landon Jr surely shows his father's influence, which is wonderful. Hallmark plays them often. Especially now for Valentine's Day I think.

That the most important thing in Charles life was his family. I also loved that the man could do anything. He was a carpenter, a miner, worked with dynamite, a farmer and alot of other things. He also had no prejudices. Everyone was equal to him.

The Ingles Family had deep seated integrity. What ever disappointments were cast in their way their love of each other and overall trust in mankind forged forever forward. They were very modest people who applied their faith from day to day. I only wish there were more TV shows that can match that one today

Family was family back then. Everyone worked together. Love was showed at every moment. Friends were always there to help, without excuses as to why they can't, not like today.

I loved that they filmed the tv series like the books - through the eyes of the author - Laura Ingalls Wilder.
