im about to see it but people say its not better than the book so..........???

As a big D&D geek, I SO wanted to like this movie! The trailers kicked major **** & I was very psyched to catch it.
I felt let down.
It totally came across as a poor man's Lord of the Rings. WAY too many similarites.

It's entertaining to those who have not read the book.
If you have read the book and know it well, you might not like the movie.
The director made this movie the way he did because he did not think so many people had actually read the book.

To be honest, in my opinion, it wasn't that great. It was not very faithful to the book and seemed like a huge blur.

That movie sucked @$$. Don't waste your time or money. Go watch LOTR.
