I can definately forgive, and I can force the memory into the back of my mind so to speak. But of course it is never truly forgotten in the true sense of the word. I just try not to think about the bad stuff, and over time it has less emotional resonance with me. Almost like it happened to someone else.
Grudges usually only the hurt one having the grudge, rarely do they have an effect on the person who did the bad deed.

Both, I can forgive, I never forget.
Can hold a grudge for decades. Long list, but thats to do with off key stuff, really not nice things, those things can't be forgiven, no way.

You can forgive, But forgetting. I don't know if that is even in the Bible. It does take a while to get over a grudge but that is what prayer is for.

But please forgive because you dont want to be bitter and have hatred in your heart to someone..im telling you from life experience that you will be suprise of what you can do to somebody because you hold a grudge of what they did to u or u just dont forgive em..its hard but truly possible

it depends. if the person hurt me so damn much that i can not live my life the same way that i used to, i can not forgive OR forget.

but i am a very forgiving person. although, i do hold grudges. i am holding a grudge right now.

Honestly...........I can forgive and sometimes can forget. but there are some things that i do hold grudges for..can't help it ! ♥
