Because Americans eat it up. If you ever want to develop a project that has no merit no purpose, and requires a certain level of idiosyncrasy and superficiality abundant in every available participant and a pre-set voyeuristic quality hard wired into the mindset of a huge droning mass of idiots, America is the place to sell it! You don't even need to be a genius or even a fifth grader to know this, and capitalize off it. You will not fail, intelligent people wouldn't buy it or even grant it the privilege of a contemptuous glare, but Americans will. Some things in life require quality and intelligence, for everything else, there's America.
