it is said that you will know them by their answers.. i say you will know them by their questions... the tone of your ? speaks loudly...
have an open ear... study music (I feel that you are well versed in "your" type of music.).. if this is true then really study and you will see the relationship with other types of music including country. music is universal.. and you do not have to understand the words.to enjoy the music.. Chicago and Detroit r places that stand out in America.. Motown and Chicago Blues/Jazz... you cannot study these forms without seeing the realstionship to country music. music crosses lines and such titles are really fading as to this or that type.. imusic is the ultimate "melting pot of the world" so my musical friend enjoy the music and do not limit yourself and miss out on some really great artist and pieces.

Plenty of people in Chicago listen to it. It's not the most popular but there are country music fans everywhere.

Yes, there sure were many country/western artists during the 50's and 60's and a number of them were quite successful at selling albums and singles and getting people to come to concert.

hey in Chicago there r some people who listen to it because i used to live there couple of my frinds did but in New York it is very rare about 5% to 10% of people do my cousins and friends dont
